Rosalia

Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. She has been a part of the fringes of traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she is also involved in other styles like the hip hop soul genre and trap. The flamenco guitar player Pepe habichuela has described her voice as sweet and sharp, yet featuring the sharpness of older singers. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned her a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist the follow-up album for 2018 El Mal Querer was a major critical and commercial breakthrough topping the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart and finally getting the Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami will be her third album. The singer collaborated with a variety of musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The show premiered in March 2022. was released following the Saturday Night Live performance of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to perform solo on the show. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
